The GM credit card used to have 5% earnings on cash advance checks. The checks did not have any fees for using them. So I would send
in a payment on my account so I had a credit balance. Then I wrote their cash advance checks to myself and deposited them. I got 5%
earnings on the check amounts and never had any interest charges because I never borrowed any money. The no fees and a credit balance
on my account let me accumulate 5% earnings very fast without having to spend any money. I did this every time they sent me checks with
